JANE MONDAYS: Gladiator Chic

Dress Like a Pope

"Livvy Slim" style

So apparently, we can ALL start wearing "the white hat" just as our most favorite fixer does every day. Not to mention the tweed peplum jackets, white gloves, flawless capes and tapered trousers as the head of the Gladiator clan does effortlessly.

On Tuesday ABC's  number 1 show "Scandal" makes it's debut at the contemporary women's chain, The Limited.

Season 4 of the wildly popular political drama debut's just 2 days after the line drops this week; inspired by Kerry Washington's character, Olivia Pope, the "Scandal Line" was created by the shows costume designer, Lyn Paolo who collaborated with The Limited head designer, Elliot Staples and Washington herself!

"We've been this dynamic trio working together from beginning to end" explained Washington And you'll see that, just like her well known character, the collection was developed with a moderns and global twist with every single piece designed in detail to look as it was taken straight from "Liv's" closet.

The callab-o is also being called the "first of it's kind" between a national retailer, a top rated TV show, it's costume designer and it's leading lady where price points of the 79-piece collection ranges in price from $49 to $248. Shoppers can fully channel the ultimate Gladiator--since some items are even named after Ms. Pope--there's the "Live Flare", the "Olivia Modern" and the "Livvy Slim" trousers (all $98). Peplum Jackets at $168, Cap-sleeve trench (my fave) at $198 and a plaid cape at $228.

Since Stylista's love this show just as much as Politico's do, fall is going to look a lot more "polished" this time around, I'm with it!
