STYLE: Classic Style for the Spring Season

Spring Fling
Traditional Spring Style
Some are clearing out their winter wardrobe, others are prepping for fashion week in NYC and while old man winter is still lurking around that hasn't stopped me from fantasizing over the warm rays of springtime - minus the sneezing - and the bevy of fresh style that will blossom like May flowers.

This spring season, I plan on keeping it traditional - with classic pieces. Here are some classic girly pieces, flirty frocks and even "It Girl" nail art and hair accessories we can all add to our wardrobe, as Must-Have's, after we put away all the winter black!

Sporty x Feminine Crop Tops
Playing peek-a-boo with the skin is always fun, and we have seen the bare-midrift in style and fashion since ladies were hiding flasks in their garters (1920's). So Mix it up with tasteful crop tops. Add textures to your personal style from feminine suits to sporty trends, show a little skin....every season!

Rihanna spotted in NYC, last months, wears sporty chic attire in green satin sweat pants and cropped grey sweat shirt. Winning!

Full Skirts
Add some Vintage feminine flare with full, pleated or A-line skirts in fun prints, colors and playful patterns in mini, midi or maxi!

Swing Coats
1950's style seem to be everywhere we turned this season from fur muffs and hats to Seychelles shoes. Try swing style coats in beige, pastels or other light colors creating a statement piece

Loafers
Like Dej Loaf - this happens to also be one of my favorite forms of footwear. At some point, in the world of style, the classic loafer became less than trendy and made way for the classic oxford. Well this season we can blow the dust of this sole and get creative with colors and texture such as Metallic

Flirty Hair Accessories
It's fun being a girl...from head to toe. You don't necessarily have to take it back to middle school with a variety of colored headbands and barrettes but shoot for fun, playful, trendy and mature when it comes to your hair accessories. TRY: Gilded Clips, Floral Hair Combs, Scarves, Head-wraps and Turbans

Unconventional Nail-Art
Nail art never gets old- no matter how old you get - and this season you should get even crazier with your 10 tiny canvas'. Keep the candy pastels near by and switch up your color and your design as much as you can.
