Weekends are meant to kick back...and rooftops are meant for crop tops!
Last Saturday we swung by the Open Space Studios fundraising rooftop cook-out hosted by Folasade Adeoso and her great team of tastemakers. Open Space is a project space that strives to facilitate new, emerging and innovative makers, artists and cultural enthusiasts, located in Brooklyn, N.Y. owned and operated by young, beautiful black people, I was excited to support.
My friends and I gathered on Saturday afternoon in Bed-Stuy for the shenanigans as we showed up close to sun-down [it was a scorcher], we indulged in the wood framed rooftop on Madison St. saw a few familiar faces and made new friends.

I decided to be sporty chic---but threw a few lady like accents in their as well---in a fully curated look by my Closet Luxe partner, Chante. Last summer she distressed a pair of vintage Levi's jeans and purchased an interesting crop top and this summer, I decided to wear it!
